Prepare to be blown away by the spectacular maneuvers of the
world's finest kite surfers who will fly and glide over the sea in
Portimão in July.
In July the Praia do Alvor will host another stage of the Kitesurf
World Championship organized by PKRA (Professional Kite Riders
Association), attended by some of the world's leading male and
female athletes who will take part in two events - the main
Freestyle competition and the secondary Regatta event.
Given that it is an increasingly popular support among young people,
the kitesurf championship also brings a welter of entertainment activities to the sites
where it is held, and in Portimão will include late-night entertainment in the Praia do
Alvor and Praia da Rocha.
