Madeira Walking Festival |
If you like walking, then come to Madeira in January. |
If you like walking, then come to Madeira in January and take part
in a festival that will enable you to discover some spectacular
landscapes.
This event – which takes place over five consecutive days in the
“levadas” and “veredas” mountain paths of the islands of Madeira
and Porto Santo is an organized program of group walks
accompanied by specialist guides. 20 walking routes have been
selected, all of which are classified and recommended by the
Regional Government of Madeira.
Participants can choose from a
list of four walks per day, ranked by different levels of difficulty and duration.
The Walking Festival offers a unique opportunity to get to know these enchanting
islands, while you enjoy some active and healthy holidays in direct contact with Nature.
