In May, you can enjoy all the thrilling excitement of speed as you
watch one of the stages in the Formula 2 World Powerboat
Championship at Vila Real de Santo António.
There will be 24 boats from a wide range of countries taking part
in the different events: Match-Race, Speed-Record and a pure
speed race lasting roughly 35 minutes. Equipped with 1998cc
engines, these boats can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h, so you
can certainly expect a spectacular show on the estuary of the River
Guadiana that will set your heart racing.
